Just like that it’s time for my second quarter check in! If you’re new here, I set some 2018 goals in January and have been following up with myself (and you all) to keep myself accountable. I started working on this post on July 1 but got distracted, so it’s a little late. No worries though! I’m here, keeping myself honest because we all need a little personal life audit every few months, right?
Here goes my grading!
Overall Goal: Resolve.
Goal: Travel more locally.
B. Giving myself a B here because ‘locally’ changed for me. Moving back to South Florida means that I’ve explored a ton of what it already has to offer. That said, I’ve been to St. Pete and have been more adventurous within my home area. Looking to do more in Q3!
Goal: Visit Europe again and hopefully work with tourism boards or travel companies there.
A. I’m working on some things for the end of the year in this department, so I’m giving myself an A!
Goal: Spend more time taking care of myself.
A. With the move back to South Florida, I have been able to spend more time doing yoga, working out and focusing on myself and my individual goals. I’ve also done a really good job of saying no to things and putting myself first!
Goal: Be more open (in my personal relationships).
B? Only because I’ve been cut off from people and haven’t spent time fostering the relationships I do have…
Goal: Write more.
C. The one thing I forget to do is write for fun. I used to do this on lunch at work, but because I don’t have a fixed work schedule, I don’t have a time slot for writing anymore. That said, I do a great job of jotting things down regularly. Now I just need to follow through!
Overall:
