Just as I promised, I’m expanding on my previous post and giving you more Nashville murals to see! I can understand people wanting their photo ops, but I genuinely enjoy the pops of color when I run to The Juice Bar and when I’m driving to Kroger. These murals are like accent pieces to our city…just another reason I love living in Nashville.
This mural is a fairly recent add by Nashville Walls Project. It’s actually kind of behind the gulch, next to Barista Parlor. I love the angles and bright colors.
Just around the corner is Carter Vintage Guitars with it’s gorgeous Les Paul mural spanning the entire length of the building. There are several ways to shoot this mural, so I thought I’d show both a panoramic shot (from my iPhone) and a regular shot. The detail is incredible and this thing is huge!
In front of The Juice Bar in the Gulch, this had got to me one of the more popular murals for summer Instagram posting. Drive by any Saturday and Sunday and expect to either wait in line or risk someone crowding your picture. I saw two separate photoshoots (with glitter) in one hour! If you want to casually admire, grab a smoothie and sit across the street. The view is just as good 🙂
Entering Sylvan Park is the Import Flowers store. Frankly I don’t know what their hours are, but they always seem to be closed when I drive by! That’s all the better for pictures; it means less traffic and people to block the sunflower wall!
Going slightly further west, you can see this Dalmatian spotted wall from blocks away and from I-40. It spans the exterior of The Dog Spot.
Also a recent add to the neighborhood is this mural made of cooking utensils and food painted alongside the Nashville Cash and Carry. There’s something for everyone here, and the E is a pan of biscuits!
If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know about my recent love for the restaurant EiO and The Hive. Everything is organic, it has a really cool vibe and the food is genuinely delicious and average priced. Plus, they are all about positivity. On the side wall of the restaurant is a wall with positive sayings and the above photo spot, where people can stand and spread their vibrations 🙂
I know what you’re thinking. You could plan a trip here just to take pictures of walls! It’s true. And as more pop up, I’ll keep you updated.
