I wish I had seen a St. Pete mural tour walking guide before I ever went, so now that I’ve been (multiple times) I’ve created one! I also created a weekend trip guide here, if you’re interested!
St. Pete has become something of a surrogate home for me since my sister moved there. It’s a quick drive from my parents’ house and I love visiting! One of the first things I noticed about St. Pete was the amazing street art scene. There are murals everywhere: on the sides of buildings, in alleyways and even on those street utility readers. One time, my sister and I took a few hours to walk around St. Pete’s Central Arts District to scope the situation out. Since then, I love finding new ones, whether it’s by casually driving by or seeing them on Instagram.
It’s also wonderful how new murals pop up here and there all the time, so who knows what else is up since my last trip. The only downside is how some don’t wear well over time, fade, or get covered up by graffiti (read: vandalism, not art). And then some are on alleyways behind parked cars, so I’ve never been able to get a good photo of them. All the more reason for you to visit!
So here is my St. Pete mural tour, with 18 of my favorite murals & their approximate addresses.
1. Pinocchio / Boy with Head in Hands
2. Native American Girl with Horse
3. Shark Toof
4. Multicolor Mural and Robot

The best part? There seem to be new murals popping up all the time!
The sad part? Some may get removed or painted over, but I’ll try to keep this updated!
Oh! And if you’re ever in South Florida and want to check out street art and murals, check out Wynwood. It’s a must-visit in my opinion. I go every time I’m in town!
I used to live near St. Pete! I’ve probably been to those murals a thousand times haha. St. Pete beach was always one of my favorites too. Miss it!
It’s such a great city!
